Approximately 30,000 people participated in the Mumbai Marathon on January 15, racing from Azad Maidan through the streets of Mumbai.
50 Omron staff members joined in the 6km Dream Run held on the same day.
An Omron stall was also set up beside Azad Maidan to provide free blood pressure and body composition tests to the large number of visitors to the stall.

Omron participated in the Mumbai Marathon 2012 Expo (6 to 8 Jan.) at MMRDA BKC Mumbai, offering free health check-ups with Omron's advanced blood pressure and body composition monitors to the large number of visitors to the Omron stall. There were also a number of fun activities such as the "Smile Battle" where Omron's high-tech facial recognition technology was used to judge who had the nicest smile.
